Rubi by CDW App

Background

CDW’s first native app, Rubi, was built by a newly assembled, lean team of designers and developers working on two parallel tracks for 6 months. As the lead designer on the mobile team, I sharpened and designed the vision for the MVP (and post-release) app experience by leveraging behavior analytics and prioritizing customer insights.

The Problem

  • IT Ops and managers don’t have the flexibility to maintain productivity on the go by handling essential tasks like approving and tracking orders, resolving account issues, and reviewing quotes.

The Outcomes

  • Piloted and launched a native app with a 68% return rate and an average order value of 3K - a 62% increase over the website.
